thobekile
Saras Chinsamy's on stage now reading a couple of new poems. Getting it out! This one's called " I was a little girl one day" Seems like the poetry stage opens me up and unmasks experiences that have occurred in my life, either in my past or my present. This one is from childhood I was 6 years old when this happened.
My next poem is called "perhaps its my turn now" it was inspired by me remembering that sometimes love does not have to be all emotional. It came to be that writers such as Jane Austen and the like all went through what I have, and as women we are graceful and soft and wait for one day when all can be said that must. Every other women probably knows what I mean.
The song playing currently is called "seasonal change" sung by a very talented vocalist that I cannot find anywhere in the world called Lindy....My name is Kane, I produced the track three years ago.....Big up to Lindy for her beautiful vocals....Ahhhhh...holla at me on Facebook or Twitter...One Love
Valerie is surprising Kane with one of his songs!DJ Killer Kane produced this track you're hearing now.
AmaBhele Odidi!!! Love it. His clan name is Mbhele, his mother's clan name is Mboyisa. Now you know - Odidi!

Anthony did a microphone intervention on the correct use of a studio mic.
My name is Theresa... I just did two poems. The first was called "Gravity", the second "Building"...
"Gravity" is about science and spirituality and the way healing and treatment of diseases can often be found either in science or spirituality. And we have to seek for answers to questions in both avenues, and not just trust in one in treatment for illness.
"Building" is about events. Things that have great impact. But we can choose how it continues to impact us on an ongoing basis.
You choose everyday how you will live and you choose how you act in response to things that happen to you. Choose to free yourself. Choose not to be angry. Choose life.
I sang my song for the first time: "Apha Kuwe"! wow!!!i love PASS! My name's Asanda and I guess I'm a performer by nature. Love speaking truth, love dreaming stories...I think they come to me and it's my purpose to tell them. I'm a theatre-maker by profession but a closet-case singer!
Nonkululeko did a poem from Kgafela oa Magogidi called Beautiful Ones are Dying. Powerful conversation with Sivu's poem called A Silent Cry
Then Anthony gave something from the book of Mandla Langa - The Lost Colours of the Chameleon
Sivuyisiwe Giba
A silent Cry
Is about the silence of street kids that will never be able to be heard about what they think about and what their thoughts are about. A street kid goes through a lot more then what we would see during the split moment that you would pass one on a daily. they need a space to grow to be free spirits
The color of Sound
This piece is about the levels of how we as human beings do not give each other the opportunity to free express ourselves without a feeling of judgment and being told that you are wrong at your own opinion. Everybody has the write to their opinion and their own their freedom of speech...
love who you are all the time, be who you are, as there is nothing that is more pleasurable then a person who appreciates their existence as we were all placed in this world for the reason of self upliftment.
So after this cut from A3 we will begin
